These 30 minute sessions are intended to support candidates to make a comprehensive, high quality GA application taking account of all academic and work experience. This session will also assist candidates and line managers to understand the importance of making a strong and fully informed GA application in a competitive setting.

Target Audience: GA candidates who have secured employer approval to join an apprenticeship programme, or for prospective employers and employees who want to understand more about the application process.

Sessions will include:

• Narrated demonstration of a school leaver’s application
• Narrated demonstration of a more experienced employee’s application: upskilling and reskilling candidates with work experience
• Particular attention will focus on the importance of structuring and writing a great personal statement
• Focus on importance of getting things right first time, to speed up the decision process for a place
• Q&A
