Earlier this year, the Department for Digital, Culture, Media & Sport (DCMS), in collaboration with Infosecurity Europe, ran its sixth competition to find the most creative and original cyber security companies in the country, the winner being crowned The UK’s Most Innovative Cyber SME 2021.
This year’s record number of applicants were judged by three industry experts: Innovate UK’s Deputy Challenge Director Agata Samojlowicz CISSP, Global Transatlantic CEO Andy Williams, and Infosecurity Magazine Editorial Editor, Eleanor Dalloway.
The 14 winning SMEs, in no particular order: Senseon Tech Ltd, Conatix, Enclave Networks, Risk Ledger, ANGOKA, Red Sift, Polydigi Tech Ltd, CAPSLOCK, NWPRO Ltd, BlockAPT Limited, IOETEC, Keyless, Logically and Security Alliance Limited.
These top 14 SMEs will be offered the chance to exhibit at the DCMS Innovation Zone during Infosec 2021, Europe’s leading cyber security event taking place on 13th-15th July 2021, now in its 25th year. They will receive an event stand, two showcase speaking slots and a marketing package.
The first place SME will also receive top billing at the DCMS Cyber Innovation Zone, first choice of stall location, three showcase speaking slots and be the subject of an Infosecurity Magazine feature. They will be announced as a winner at the event itself.
This year was incredibly competitive, with a record number of applications from a wide variety of businesses. It is incredibly exciting to see such a robust, innovative cyber security ecosystem.
