At ScotlandIS, we’re delighted to have signed up to the Scottish Business Pledge.
To make the pledge an organisation concerned has to be paying a minimum of the Living Wage (£7.85 per hour) and be working towards a range of other commitments. These include supporting progressive workforce engagement, no zero hours contracts, investing in youth, having a balanced workforce, playing an active role in the community and committing to prompt payment.
Polly Purvis, our CEO said: “The Pledge underlines the importance of fair and progressive business policies and the role they play in supporting business development and sustainable economic growth.
This is a great initiative by Scottish Government and by making the Scottish Business Pledge we want to demonstrate that ScotlandIS is a progressive, forward thinking and innovative organisation.
We would recommend all our member companies consider committing their organisations to the Scottish Business Pledge.”
