Addleshaw Goddard grows team in Aberdeen with new partner among six additions

International law firm Addleshaw Goddard, has continued its investment in Aberdeen by announcing six new people joining its office in the city, including a prominent Partner in the firm’s Employment team.

Anya Duncan, who joins from Aberdeen firm Stronachs, has more than 20 years’ experience in the market. She will further strengthen the firm’s exceptional team in Aberdeen working closely alongside existing Aberdeen-based employment & immigration law specialist, Robert Phillips, as well as the firm’s well-established corporate and commercial practice.

Anya is dual-qualified to practice in England & Wales, is a Law Society of Scotland Accredited Specialist in Employment Law and is ranked by leading legal directory Chambers UK. She is experienced in multi-jurisdictional matters, acting for a range of international clients across sectors including energy, construction, transport, hospitality and manufacturing.

Anya will be joined in the employment law team by a new Associate, Alanah Mills, who previously worked at Brodies and Ledingham Chalmers.

The firm has also announced two new additions to its Corporate team in the city. Michaela Watts has joined from Brodies as a Managing Associate, while newly qualified solicitor Natasha Hassard becomes an Associate in the team.

And Addleshaw Goddard will also add two new trainees in Aberdeen, Rijul Shah and Zoe Anderson, taking its number of trainees in the city to four.
