Tell us something unique or interesting about your organisation.

e2e-assure’s founder Rob Demain is a strong advocate for improving neurodiversity inclusion within the cyber security industry. With a belief that complex problems cannot and should not be solved by similar minds. As a result, for the last 5 years e2e-assure has been working closely with the organisation IASME Consortium to provide cyber security workplace opportunities for neurodiverse individuals. You can hear more about this on Rob’s recent appearance on the Security Strategist Podcast.

What is your biggest achievement as an organisation?

e2e-assure has recently secured a follow-on investment from our original investors BGF (British Growth Fund). This investment demonstrates the belief that BGF has into ongoing growth and mission of e2e-assure.

What do you see as the main challenges for the tech industry in the UK and Scotland?

UK and Scottish tech industries have been battling challenges with rising cyber threats, a critical cyber security skills gap and regulation for some time. These challenges do continue to impact cyber security teams in this sector however we predict more prominent challenges in 2025 with budgetary constraints and, of course, AI.

The current economic climate creates challenges with funding constraints and pressures on cyber security teams to prove ROI on existing investments. Especially as operational costs are seeing significant rises from increased log ingestion and storage charges. It is also known that during times of economic downturn insider threats become more prominent for organisations, increasing the need for holistic resilience.

In addition to these already demanding challenges, the rise of AI across all organisational operations is creating unprecedented challenges and questions for cyber security teams. Many organisations are questioning if they should be implementing AI into their security processes. Unsurprisingly the answer is more complex than a simple yes or no, but first organisations need to consider their data. AI in cyber security can offer benefits such as greater detection times, however these are reliant on the quality of technological configuration and data/alert management.

e2e-assure aims to assist organisations with these challenges by curated strategic partnerships. Reducing the daily strains of cyber security operations by plugging gaps in resource and reducing costs through technological consolidation and log management. Resulting in more time to collaborate with our consultancy teams to focus on strategical security roadmaps and continually improvements in holistic resilience.
