This webinar will support lecturers delivering the Ethical Hacking unit within the HNC/D in Cyber Security.
Mark Rose, Lead Penetration Tester at Quorum Cyber will:
- provide an overview of industry recognised tools for reconnaissance (passive / active) and scanning (such as, Kali, SE Toolkit, Nmap, Zenmap, OpenVAS and Nessus.)
- outline what is typically contained within a contract between a pen tester and their client i.e., the scope of work, NDA, liability release and rules of engagement.
- cover what is typically included in a findings report and
- touch on what organisations could, or should, use to help against disclosing data that could be used against them.

This is a webinar and joining instructions to access the session will be issued upon booking. A test session will be made available to delegates on 10th March 2020 between 2 and 4pm. During this time colleagues will be offered support to access the technology.
