Event Details
An evening finding out how Uber operates across Scotland, looking specifically at the Glasgow and Edinburgh areas.
This is an opportunity to hear from Matt Eastwood – Head of Cities, North East and Scotland, at Uber – about Uber operations in Glasgow and Edinburgh and their plans for the rest of Scotland. The evening will include a short presentation followed by an extended Q&A session that will allow attendees to put their questions to Matt. Matt has previously worked with the Energy Saving Trust (EST) and CoMoUK (previously CarPlus) so is well placed to answer a wide range of questions.
In addition, for those arriving between 1730-1800, there will be an opportunity to tour the Community Food Initiative North East (CFINE), a social enterprise committed to social, environmental and economic development. This includes their warehouse operations, electric cargo bikes and tuk tuk!
This event is jointly presented by Charted Institute of Logistics and Transport (CILT), Chartered Institute of Highways and Transportation (CIHT) and MaaS Scotland.
