The Aviation X Lab alongside AREA 2071 has launched the Aviation X Lab Accelerate, a Traveller Wellbeing virtual pitching competition to find top solutions supporting travellers’ safety during and post-COVID-19. The shortlisted solutions will be invited to pitch to the Aviation X Lab council, which consists of C-level representatives from Emirates Airline, Thales, Collins Aerospace, GE Aviation, and Airbus. The winning solution will have the opportunity to partner with Emirates Airline to make its product available to travellers.
They are looking for Innovative customer-focused products/solutions that can help and support travellers throughout their journey to increase health and safety precautions and help restore confidence in travel during and after COVID-19 (B2C). This will be an excellent opportunity for companies that have a ready-for-market product that can help travellers throughout their journey and beyond. Companies that could potentially be successful here will likely have a solution that is either app-based or have the form of wearable tech, but perhaps more traditional hygienic or medical solutions with an innovative spin would fit the ask too. The Dubai Future Foundation has offered some excellent opportunities for UK companies in the past.
