The last week has been a challenging one for everyone.
The realities of homeworking are setting in, we spend most of our days on video calls and juggling this with homeschooling, mitigating social isolation and being video bombed by pets/small children/other members of the household.
We are starting to see some of the hard economic impacts of lock down. Members are being hit by the breaks in the supply chain, by regular customers who can’t pay invoices, and some of our innovative start ups closing doors.
There is support out there, it’s not perfect but it’s worth understanding what we are all eligible for, all the links are on https://www.scotlandis.com/covid-19/
We are listening – we are asking you regularly what is missing, what is needed and we are feeding this back directly to both the Scottish Government and to Westminster through regular calls with DCMS. We have joined the UK Tech Cluster Board and are part of a UK wide network sharing information on the impacts on our members.
We are continuing to work with the Scottish Government on No One Left Behind and on how we digitally transform SME’s.
The team are all working hard to make sure we are providing the information, support and resources you need.
Keep talking to us – tell us what else we can do.
