ScotlandIS, the trade body and cluster management organisation for Scotland’s digital technology industry, have today announced the shortlist for their 14th annual Digital Technology Awards.
The awards showcase the enormous talent within the tech sector, celebrating individuals and organisations across the length and breadth of the country.
This year saw a significant number of nominations for our new Digital Tech Rising Star category, aiming to recognise early career talent and the leaders of tomorrow, and for the Cyber Trailblazer category, shining a light on the members of Scotland’s pioneering cyber industry.
As its an Olympic year, the theme of the awards for 2024 is “Olympians of Tech”, with several surprises to look forward to on the night.
Karen Meechan, ScotlandIS CEO, commented: “I am continually astounded by the quality of the entries we receive and this year, our finalists cover a wide varieties of industries and sub-sectors of tech, from renewable energies to food and beverage, which is fantastic to see.
“Our 2024 shortlisted companies highlight Scotland as a true leader of innovation and talent, helping to drive the growth of the sector, and I am thoroughly looking forward to celebrating their achievements at the Awards on 2nd May.”
