The awards, now in their sixth year, celebrate the talent and ideas abundant in Scotland’s world-class digital technologies industry. This year the awards received a record number of entries, reflecting the health of the sector.
Polly Purvis CEO of ScotlandIS said: “The Scottish digital technologies sector is not just buoyant, it is thriving. It continues to grow year on year. I am delighted to see this reflected in the number of entries for the competition, which have doubled this year. The diversity, scale and sheer innovation of the companies on the shortlist is impressive and demonstrates the opportunities which are available for those interested in a career in the sector.”
There are fifteen gongs up for grabs this year with several new categories making their debut including: CEO of the Year, Education Provider / Training Programme and the Data Lab sponsored Transformational Innovation Through Data award.
Iomart and Skyscanner will go head to head for the Large Digital Tech Business award whilst Administrate, Calnex, and Edge Testing are shortlisted for the Midsized Business category. Adimo, Escrivo, and Mallzee vie for the Small Digital Tech Business gong. Start-ups are also celebrated in the Emerging Digital Tech Business of the Year category with the nominees being Cofficient, Indigo Technologies, and Senshi Digital. The winners of the awards will be unveiled at the Old Fruitmarket in Glasgow on 20 April.
