Scotland’s fast growing tech sector was exemplified by the quality and range of winners celebrated at the ScotlandIS Digital Technology Awards last night.
The winning organisations, all demonstrate impressive results – from emerging digital technology firms to those businesses scaling up fast. The awards recognised a number of great examples of where technical innovation is proving a powerful catalyst in established, traditional sectors.
Polly Purvis, Chief Executive of ScotlandIS, said:
“The success stories showcased at last night’s awards are a testament to why Scotland’s digital technologies sector is increasingly recognised for worldclass innovation. The competition was fierce, underlining the quality of products and services being developed across the industry,.
“It is no coincidence that Scotland is home to such high calibre tech businesses given the combination of highly skilled people, a culture of problem solving and innovation and the growing ambition within the industry. We are committed to continuing to raise the profile of the industry and provide support to our membership and the wider community.
The bar is raised every year at these Awards and it is important to keep feeding that ambition to ensure we continue to compete effectively as an industry on the international stage.”
