Digital graduates will be given the chance to present their work to potential industry employers after donations from the studios.
Two Dundee video game studios are teaming up to aid the next generation of digital developers to forge future careers.
Ninja Kiwi Europe and Outplay Entertainment have each contributed £2,500 to support the Abertay Digital Graduate Show (ADGS) 2021 which takes place online on 25th of June.
The event will showcase “outstanding games, tech, computer arts and computing projects” produced by Abertay University students from the School of Design and Informatics.
Commenting on the collaboration, Dean of the School of Design and Informatics Professor Gregor White said: “To have two high calibre games studios like Ninja Kiwi Europe and Outplay Entertainment sponsor this year’s show highlights the importance we place on our connections with industry.
“We are sure both our sponsors and the wider public will be wowed with the quality of work exhibited by our students and I look forward to welcoming everyone to the show on the 25th of June.”
ADGS offers students “a chance to put their work in front of future employers at a time when Dundee’s games industry is growing, despite the challenges of the pandemic”.
David Hamilton, Executive Vice President at Ninja Kiwi said: “We’re delighted to be a gold sponsor of this year’s Abertay Digital Graduate Show.
