Entries open for Scotland’s flagship Digital Technology Awards 2025

  • ScotlandIS is now welcoming entries for its Digital Technology Awards 2025
  • This year will see nominees competing in 10 categories, including the newly introduced ‘Outstanding IT Managed Service Providers (ITMSP)’

ScotlandIS, the membership and cluster management organisation for Scotland’s digital technologies industry, has opened applications for its flagship awards ceremony, Digital Technology Awards.

Seeking to celebrate scale, innovation and talent in the nation’s digital economy, the 2025 ceremony will mark its 15th year running. Nominations are open until 9th January 2025 with winners being announced at a ceremony in Glasgow on the 20th March 2025.

This year’s awards also see the addition of a new category, Outstanding ITMSP, which recognises managed service providers that have demonstrated exceptional leadership, innovation and impact on customer service.

Karen Meechan, CEO at ScotlandIS said: “There’s no denying the past few years have, at times, been challenging for businesses. But, amidst a tough economic climate, the Scottish tech industry continues to show its resilience, with plenty to be excited about across space, cyber security and renewables. Scotland is quickly making its way up the global leaderboard and that’s something to celebrate.

“Even though we’ve been running these awards for 15 years now, the level of talent and innovation that is present in Scotland’s digital ecosystem never ceases to impress me. The quality of the nominations we receive seems to improve every year, and I have no doubt we will see many more impressive entries for the 2025 awards. The Scottish tech sector is an industry we are all immensely proud of and we can’t wait to see what this year’s entries have in store.”

On the introduction of the new category, targeted specifically at ITMSPs, Karen said:

“Working with so many cutting-edge ITMSPs who play such a pivotal role in supporting businesses across Scotland, we felt it was only right to highlight their efforts with the addition of our new Outstanding ITMSP category. This is a sector of significant growth and is becoming increasingly vital to business success. We hope these awards will inspire ITMSPs to continue driving growth and innovation in the digital economy.”

The 2025 Digital Technology Awards will be held on 20th March 2025 at the Radisson Blu hotel in Glasgow and will be judged by an independent panel of experts to determine the shortlist.
