Come along to the February Aberdeen Data Meetup which will be co-hosted by ScotlandIS. Learn about the work happening at ScotlandISData – the data tech industry cluster – and meet ScotlandIS Head of Data, Katy Guthrie. The University of Aberdeen’s Katie Wilde will talk about the opportunities for working with the their Safe Haven datasets and how the Aberdeen University High Performance Computing Centre can be used. Katie will also discuss a case study where the Safe Haven data and HPCC were put to use in helping fracture detection.

We will also hear from Chris Ayres, Chief Operating Officer at OPEX who will outline the data science service OPEX provides to the Oil and Gas sector.
