Dundee and Angus Chamber of Commerce (DACC) is pleased to invite applications from any Scottish Business for this virtual trade mission to Rotterdam, Netherlands.
The Netherlands is one of the major Gateways to importing goods to the EU, with 80% of Dutch exports go to other nations withing the EU and 70% of the imports come from the EU. The city of Rotterdam, the largest port city in Europe, is at the hub of roughly half the population of the EU, with almost 160 million people living within a 300-mile radius of the major port city. With high-tech industries and services, foreign trade is one of the main pillars of the Dutch economy, representing an impressive 158% of GDP in 2018 (World Bank), one of the most open and outward-oriented economies in the world.

What is involved?
As part of this trade mission delegates will receive a training workshop before the trade mission to explore expectations, who they will be meeting with and what to expect when trading with the Netherlands.
There will be two themes to this mission: opportunities in & around the Port of Rotterdam, and the Circular Economy.
The mission itself will include market briefings on key opportunities in Rotterdam, sessions with industry specialists and advice on trading with the Netherlands as well as how to set up a business in the region. Virtual networking meetings with business organisations in Rotterdam; and virtual one-to-one business meetings with potential clients or trade partners in the Netherlands, based on your company requirements.
Who can apply?
This mission is open to any company in Scotland looking to grow their international trade activity in the Netherlands. Companies do not need to be a member of a Chamber of Commerce
Price?
To participate in the mission, there is a £100 administration fee.
