The “Trust Me, I’m A Leader” podcast examines the art and science of business and leadership as companies reset and fundamentally rethink the old ways of working, in the wake of the recent Covid-19 crisis. Tapping into the extensive knowledge, experience and insights of some of the world’s most successful leaders, two engaging hosts – Taranata Group CEO, Martin Ewart and global talent and organisation health expert, Suzanne Lamont – are on a mission to help Scottish businesses think through what they urgently need to do now, and next, as the business world begins to readjust to the new normal.
Martin and Suzanne speak to Peter Proud – CEO of Forrit (software company providing content management systems). They discuss the impact of home working on productivity and team working, leadership in a virtual context and new approaches to staff retention and wellbeing.
Prior to founding Forrit, Peter worked as Managing Director of Strategic Accounts and Partnerships for Accenture Interactive Digital Practice, providing integrated marketing, technology and analytics solutions for the digital world. Before joining Accenture, Peter worked at Microsoft for 14 years managing accounts for some of the world’s leading household names and was integral in the establishment of Microsoft’s ‘One Microsoft’ initiative.
