This blog from ID Cyber Solutions discusses their ongoing partnership with RSS, and their goal to ensure the ripening space sector in Scotland is cyber secure.
We are honoured to continue our partnership with the Regional Security System (RSS), where we support critical services by upskilling their teams across Caribbean nations.
Cary Hendricks, Global Operations Director and lead instructor at ID Cyber Solutions, will return to Barbados to deliver a comprehensive suite of cybersecurity training courses.
We will train police, military, and government personnel involved in critical organisations across the Caribbean nations. These organisations include the Royal Police Force of Antigua and Barbuda, the Antigua and Barbuda Defence Force, Regional Security System Headquarters, and the Royal Saint Lucia Police Force, to name a few.
“This course is a brilliant way to learn real-world incident handling skills, so that you know not only how to detect security incidents but handle them in an effective, efficient way. It’s a privilege to be able to provide this course to staff from so many important organisations.” Cary Hendricks, Global Operations Director
From the Caribbean to Space Adventures
On the 11-12th September, Space Comm Expo, the UK’s largest space industry event, is coming to Glasgow from the 11th to the 12th of September, and we are excited to be there.
Did you know more small satellites are designed and built in Glasgow than anywhere outside of California? Scotland has been at the forefront of innovation throughout history, from the telephone to television to tidal turbines. Now, with the Scotland Space Advisory Committee (SISAC), Scotland is leading the way in small satellite manufacturing.
It is an exciting and innovative time for Scotland and Scottish businesses. The Space Comm Expo tagline is ‘Where space does business.’ This is where ID Cyber Solutions comes in. If Scotland is open for space business, we will be open to ‘keeping your space business secure.’
Cary Hendricks, Global Operations Director states, “As a leading international cybersecurity company based in Glasgow, we proudly support Scotland’s space journey and the Space Comm Expo by showing that cybersecurity need not be complex or expensive. A change in security culture cultivating the best products takes effort and collaboration.
“We aim to provide guidance and training, from basic cybersecurity to incident response, empowering businesses to face new challenges. Together, we can achieve the aspirational Air Force motto ‘Per Aspera Ad Astra’—’through hardships to the stars.’ It is only hard when you don’t know how.”
