UK-based Microsoft 365 business change consultancy, Appetite for Business, is pleased to announce it has been granted a leading information security management certification.
Following a series of scrupulous internal and external audits supervised by QHSE Aberdeen, the technology expert was awarded the ISO 27001 certification earlier this month. The globally recognised UKAS certification provides an assurance that Appetite for Business are operating in a professional manner that highly values security and compliance with an internationally recognised standard.
Going through the process has led the company to develop a reliable security management system which guarantees legal compliance and protects customer information by conforming to the highest security standards and requirements.
Sheryl Newman, chief executive officer, commented: “ISO 27001 confirms our ongoing commitment to the security, confidentiality, high availability of our services and the continuation of effective and efficient safe operations to our clients worldwide.
“This certification further strengthens our unwavering commitment to achieve our mission to be recognised by our colleagues, clients and supply chain as a best-in-class Microsoft 365 business change consultancy.
“The ISO certification process ensures we are reducing information accidents and complying with local and global law requirements. It likewise allows each member of our team to build a stronger understanding of a wide range of information security risks; lowering threats across our own organisation.
“Importantly, we would like to thank QHSE Aberdeen for their excellent support and guidance throughout the process.”
David Rusling, director at QHSE Aberdeen, added: “It was a pleasure working with Appetite for Business on this project. We were very impressed by their dedication to information security and continuous improvements – both internally and to their clients.
“With our guidance, Appetite for Business have produced an effective set of policies and processes that will guarantee compliance. We are looking forward to continuing our relationship with the team and supporting them as they keep enhancing their security standards.”
Adding up to the acquisition of large-scale projects, Appetite for Business has also recently been awarded the gold accreditation by the Learning Performance Institute (LPI) for the ninth consecutive year last January. A status that illustrates a further endorsement of Appetite’s commitment to quality and innovation.
