Skills Development Scotland has launched new guides and resources for careers in Data & Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Software Development, in partnership with ScotlandIS, The Data Lab and Scottish Enterprise. These resources highlight the variety of job roles that exist within these fields, as well as providing useful information on Data & AI and Software Development qualifications, and opportunities for professional development.
Demand for data skills within Scottish technology companies has increased 20% in the last year, and 15% for skills in artificial intelligence and machine learning. The careers resources have been launched with the aim of reducing this skills gap and ensuring more positions are filled in Data & AI, which will play a key role in enhancing our digital world.
