Now, perhaps more than ever, is an ideal time for companies to look at upskilling their workforce to help build capabilities to move the Scottish economy forward in a number of key areas. A new and exciting partnership is being developed between Heriot Watt University, we are the country’s leading providers of Graduate Apprenticeships, and have a proud tradition of industry-focused education and training and CodeClan, Scotland’s only award-winning digital skills academy.
The aim of this new partnership is to reach out to key decision makers within organisations to raise awareness of the benefits this new concept created between CodeClan and Heriot Watt University.
We will discuss:
– The access to fully funded GA courses via Skills Development Scotland.
– The learning journeys available to industry partners through initial upskilling of
existing employees as well as bring in new recruits into the industry.
– Programmes designed specifically around business needs via CodeClan industry designed short courses leading to Heriot Watt’s Degree programmes.
– They are an excellent way to recover the Apprenticeship Levy the company may already be paying
