ScotlandIS has announced the finalists in its 2021 Digital Technology Awards.
Running for 11 years, the ScotlandIS Digital Technology Awards showcase excellence within Scotland’s tech industry, rewarding the innovation, expertise and ambition of businesses large and small – and the people who drive them.
However this year’s theme moved away from the tradition of recognising the most successful and innovative of the industry and, in being dubbed the ‘Digital Tech (for Good) Awards’, instead resolved to celebrate companies and individuals that have been doing good, whether it’s contributing to the community, creating technology that helps serve society in some way, or skilling others in technology.
Karen Meechan, Interim CEO at ScotlandIS, said: “Scotland’s digital and tech sector has risen to the challenge this year to help make a huge difference to people’s lives as we have adjusted to the impact of the pandemic.
“Following an overwhelming number of positive and uplifting stories in the applications, this final shortlist reflects the best of an amazing bunch and makes you proud to be a part of the industry.”
The judging panel consisted of experts, champions, and influencers from across the digital technology industry.
The 2021 shortlist of 16 companies and individuals is as follows:
