Applications are open for Scottish EDGE, Scotland’s biggest business funding competition, offering grants and loans from £10,000 to £100,000 to help grow your startup, social enterprise or charity.
Scottish EDGE is a funding competition aimed at identifying and supporting Scotland’s innovative, high growth potential entrepreneurial talent.
Funded by the Hunter Foundation, the Royal Bank of Scotland, the Scottish Government, Scottish Enterprise and private donors, the competition is delivered twice per year and has supported 569 early-stage Scottish businesses with over £25m in award funding.
Scottish EDGE consists of four competition categories: Scottish EDGE, Social Enterprise EDGE, Young EDGE and Wild Card EDGE, and four special awards within the Scottish EDGE category for a net zero-focused business (Net Zero EDGE), a circular-focused business (Circular Economy EDGE), a commercial product-based business (STV Growth EDGE), and a food and drink business (Food and Drink EDGE).
From providing prize funding, mentoring, support from partners, or even just a quick catch-up, Scottish EDGE is here to support participants.
