ScotlandIS, the trade body and cluster management organisation for Scotland’s digital technology industry, have today announced the shortlist for their 15th annual Digital Technology Awards.
The awards showcase the enormous talent within the tech sector, celebrating individuals and organisations across the length and breadth of the country.
This year saw the introduction of a new category, ‘Outstanding IT Managed Service Provider,’ reflecting the increased reliance on outsourced IT services and the continued growth of this sector in Scotland.
The awards are particularly momentous this year as ScotlandIS itself marks its 25th year in business, an occasion that will be celebrated with a ‘birthday party’ theme running throughout the evening.
Karen Meechan, ScotlandIS CEO, commented: “The Digital Tech Awards is one of the highlights of our calendar, and the calibre of nominees this year is second to none. Our shortlist spans a wide variety of industries and sub-sectors of tech, from education to food and beverage to medtech, which is fantastic to see.
“Our 25th anniversary is a significant moment for ScotlandIS and, as someone who has been part of the journey almost since the beginning, it is remarkable to witness everything that our organisation and wider industry have accomplished since then. I am very much looking forward to celebrating this alongside our finalists at the Awards in March.”
The Digital Tech Awards judging panel consisted of experts, champions, and influencers from across the digital technology industry.
