ScotlandISCyber represents and supports businesses and organisations creating and delivering cyber driven digital products and services. This underpins a thriving community which brings together the ambition, talent and expertise across our industry to grow and protect the digital economy.
ScotlandIS and the Scottish Government have created Cyber Scotland Week, an initiative to celebrate cyber innovation and skills in Scotland, that raises awareness of good cyber resilience practice and promotes careers within the industry.
Alongside the Defence and Security Accelerator (DASA), we’ll be running a joint event to give cyber businesses and academics a chance to hear more about the work we’ll be doing with the community to build and grow the cluster of cyber businesses in Scotland, the latest grants and funding opportunities DASA offer and also give you the opportunity to meet with ScotlandISCyber, DASA and our speakers on a 1:1 basis.
You can find out all the details and sign up here.
We’ll also have a stand in the Scottish hub, Scotland Street, at CYBERUK (24-25 April). It will be great to meet with any companies interested in finding out how you can help shape and grow the cyber capability within Scotland, learn more on your aims for furthering innovation and using the talent that is inherent in both our country and industry to fully exploit the economic growth opportunities of the increasing demand for cyber security goods and services.
Events during the Week cover everything from getting more women into cyber, to making your business more resilient, cyber games for school children and everything in between.
You can find details on all of the events taking place on cyberscotlandweek.scot, there’s also downloadable resources, blogs, videos and contact information if you need any else.
